Services for Students with Disabilities include:
Short Term Medical Condition Policy

Academic expectations are outlined in course syllabi and must met in order to earn a passing grade. Faculty may attempt to work with students who experience medical conditions lasting less than 6 months or qualify as a short term condition that limits or restrict class participation or performance; however, faculty are not expected to minimize expectations to accommodate short term illnesses. To ask faculty to minimize course expectations because of short term medical conditions devalues the work of all other class participants; therefore, students who are medically unable to complete required course work and attend class regularly should consider an incomplete ( talk to faculty member) or a medical withdrawal ( talk to the dean of students).
If short term condition lasts longer than 6 months or become a permanent disability, please contact the Disability Support Office at 435-865-8022
