Talent Search is an amazing program! I have been with ETS since 1996. I am a native of Washington State. I have been working as an ETS Advisor at SUU for almost nine years now. I work with 7th - 12th grade students at Beaver and Milford High School. I received a bachelor's degree from BYU and have a secondary teaching certificate. I will be completing a Master's Degree in Education with an Administrative Endorsement in the fall of 2011. I live in Beaver with my husband. We have five children and one grandchild who we love to spend time with and spoil. Our family loves to spend time at sporting events, riding 4-wheelers and creating humorous situations for others to laugh at. I love working with the students in the schools and watching them succeed in live as they prepare for college academics and life.

Sheryl Syndergaard, Administrative Assistant

After graduation from Cedar High School and attending SUSC, this small town girl decided to find out what the big city life was all about. It was in Salt Lake City that I met and married "Curly". Raising two daughters in the city for 18 years wasn't what we called "ideal" so we headed south toward peace and quiet. We couldn't believe how nice small town living can be and have found our lives completely turned around. We now have five granddaughters and three grandsons added to our entourage and are enjoying every second of it! I've been with the TRIO programs for over 12 years now and thoroughly love the ETS staff and students I work with. Occasionally an opportunity arrives to go on tours, workshops and retreats with the students we serve. I learn so much from them and am amazed at the changes the program is making in their lives.
