National DEX Competition

Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Assembly of the Southern Utah University Student Association that $2,197.13 go to Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX) for their National Competition.
(a) Whereas; DEX has performed well in the qualifying competition and expects to do well in this competition, and
(b) Whereas; they would be representing our school and state in the competition, and
(c) Whereas; DEX members would gain valuable experience and meet prospective employers.
Therefore let it be determined that $2,197.13 be allocated to DEX.

This club seems to come ask for money an awful lot EVERY year. I think that their a great club but the simply rely on too much of our student fees to fund their activities. Also, only 11 students are going each putting fourth $100 if this bill is passed we will be giving them double what they are putting fourth per student. That is not right.
