Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Assembly of the Southern Utah University Student Association that $2,700 go to the clubs in support of Katie Koestner to come speak at Welcome Week.
(a) Whereas; it would not only benefit incoming freshman, but as well as many professors and returning students,
(b) Whereas; in light of recent events, it informs students and gives them knowledge on how to handle the situation if there is ever any concerns,
(c) Whereas; it will benefit athletes and teach them awareness, and tricks to putting themselves in safe situations.
Therefore let it be determined that $2,700 be allocated to Katie Koestner.

Ultimate Frisbee Summer Games

Ultimate Frisbee Summer Games
Sponsored By: Delegate Alayna Ferrin (AR)
Delegate Tazia Wootton (AR)
Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Assembly of the Southern Utah University Student Association that $80 go to the Ultimate Frisbee Club to help fund their participation in the Utah Summer Games Tournament.
(a) Whereas, the Utah Summer Games is a multi-state tournament that will give SUU great exposure, and give the team members a chance to represent SUU as a whole, and
(b) Whereas, this is a good opportunity to let the Ultimate Frisbee Club members have a chance at competition against other teams and it will show them areas they can improve and become a better club overall, and
(c) Whereas; participation in this tournament will increase club members and give other people more incentive to join the Frisbee club.
Therefore let it be resolved that $80 be allocated to the Ultimate Frisbee Club.

Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Assembly of the Southern Utah University Student Association that $2,197.13 go to Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX) for their National Competition.
(a) Whereas; DEX has performed well in the qualifying competition and expects to do well in this competition, and
(b) Whereas; they would be representing our school and state in the competition, and
(c) Whereas; DEX members would gain valuable experience and meet prospective employers.
Therefore let it be determined that $2,197.13 be allocated to DEX.

End of the Year Ballroom Tour

End of the Year Ballroom Tour

Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Assembly of the Southern Utah University Student Association that $3,000 go to the Ballroom Dance Team for their end of the year performance tour, around the west coast.
(a) Whereas; it is a good way to get experience in order to attend bigger competitions around the world, and
(b) Whereas; they would be representing our school and state on this tour, and
(c) Whereas; 27 students will be able to improve their talents, and
(d) Whereas; the benefits to school and community would far outweigh any cost.
Therefore let it be resolved that $3,000 be allocated to the Ballroom Dance Team.
