RecycleMania

January 18th through March 28th
Compete against USU, U of U, and BYU as well as colleges across the nation

"RecycleMania is a friendly competition and all colleges and universities are allowed to participate. For 10 weeks, colleges and universities  compete in different contests to see who can collect the largest amount of recyclables. RecycleMania helps all competing colleges and universities increase recycling efforts and minimize waste going to landfills."

• Magazines, homework, junk mail, computer paper, newspaper is all recyclable as paper in the blue pins placed around campus - every building has at least 1 blue paper recycling bin.
• Aluminum cans, water bottles, glass beverage containers, plastic milk and juice containers are all recycle - and thanks to a recent grant from Coca Cola and NRC - SUU now has 15 clear bins to collect these materials. There will be at least 1 per building on SUU's campus and they will be available starting January 20th, 2009.
• Cardboard drops off are near each blue paper recycling bin or in the tunnel under the centrum near the bookstore delivery dock.
• Printer/Copier toners can be taken to Polticial Science and Criminal Justice in GC 406 - the money received from these recycled toners funds a full time scholarship for an SUU student.
• Cell phone, Iphones, and laptops are also be recycled . . . take these to Polticial Science and Criminal Justice in GC 406
