Be it appropriated by a quorum of the Senate of the Southern Utah University Student
Association that $465.0 be allocated to the college of HSS to mount posters for the Hiroshima Convocation.
Whereas: Southern Utah University has been selected as the location in Utah for the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum Travelling Exhibit, and;
Whereas: The Hiroshima convocation will not only be an educational experience, but also a life-enriching experience, and;
Whereas: A survivor from Hiroshima will present at the convocation and;
Whereas: The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum has provided the posters for this event, and;
Whereas: Once the posters are mounted, they will be used in the convocation, displayed in the SUU library, possibly the city library, and return to SUU to be kept by HSS and used by classes at SUU, and;
Whereas: This is a permanent investment for SUU which will benefit SUU students, faculty, staff as well as Cedar City citizens for years to come.
Therefore let it be enacted that $465.0 be allocated to the college of HSS to mount posters.
