3/2/2011 12:03 PM Just hoping people can give the committee some positive or constructive feedback.
**(sample questions to answer)**
What did you like?
What was overwhelming to you?
What helped you stay motivated?
What did we do well?
What can we do better next year? |

3/5/2011 4:41 PM I like the competition component and the accumulation of healthy lifestyles over time. What I would like to see in future years is that a physical or some kind of professional assessment done prior to assigning a specific number to a challenge. Doctors and other health care professional might recommend a different amount of water, for example, for one person vs. another. The overall goal should be to increase wellness and I think if people can have a goal that works with their specific health care needs and recommendation, not just an "average recommendation for society," it would give more vesting into the challenges. Having the "bingo" format for March is a step in this direction that allows for both challenges and opportunities for growth. |

3/16/2011 3:24 PM I will admit that I am commenting as a way of meeting one of the March challenges. Nevertheless, I am finding March's challenges more difficult than all of the other months, particularly trying to go the exact speed limit for three days! Who does that? (Note: if you work in public safety, please ignore the name attached to this comment.) |

3/16/2011 3:55 PM I, too, am attempting to reach my March T-Fit Challenge goal through this link. However, I have found the Habits for Health challenge the funnest one yet. It is diverse and it is highly successful (it DID get me to the dentist for a checkup). This is great fun -- thanks to the committee for all your hard work. (Glad to see one posted that involves sleep.....) |

3/17/2011 1:23 PM I like having the many different options for the March challenge. Some are more of a challenge than others but I am excited again about participating in T-fit. |

3/21/2011 9:37 AM Love the change-up T-Fit threw at us for March. The challenges are dynamic and motivating. It was a real eye opener to keep track of calories for 3 days! Now I know why fast food is so sinful!
While I haven't been keeping exact count of fruits & veges this month, that's a life change I'm trying to embrace. It's been great. Thanks T-Fit. |

3/21/2011 9:52 AM I was getting overwhelmed with all the challenges from Sept - Feb so March was a nice change of pace. I would like to see March like challenges in the future or some combination.
Even though T-Fit is more about physical health it would be nice to see some Financially Fit (challenge or class) or Mental heath challenges to encourage overall wellness and better habits. Not sure how it would tie in but it was a thought I had. (maybe like Read a book).
Also, I think It would be nice to have even more options available on a chart like March's (maybe 50).
I used to rarely eat vegetables and T-Fit has helped incorporate them into my life. Thanks. |

3/21/2011 9:58 AM I would like to see more focus/rewards for individual achievement each month. The person from each group with the highest percentage wins something or something along those lines. The group aspect was good, but I would like to see equal focus on individuals. |

3/22/2011 3:22 PM I have loved the change for March! I too went and did my 6 month dental check-up that was long overdue. I hope this program continues. I think more individual prizes - like shoes for more people would be better than just giving out one Wii. |

3/22/2011 4:07 PM T fit has really helped me be more aware of my habits such as how many fruits and vegetables I eat and how much physical activity I do each day. I liked the switch up of March's challenge. It was a nice change of pace. I think for the future it would be fun if we were given passes to the gym in the PE building and one of the challenges was to go a certain number of times a week. I agree with everyone else on there being a need of more prizes. I felt that our team has done a great job, but our rewards have not reflected that so it has made it harder to want to continue. |

3/29/2011 9:54 AM I have enjoyed the T-fit Challenge, especially the March Challenge with it's variety. Thanks to all of the T-Fit organizers, for their time and effort to increase the health of SUU employees and for getting one more item marked off my March Challenge! |

3/30/2011 9:51 AM I need a point, so here are my thoughts. I think the competition has helped me continue. I have worked hard to meet each challenge and haven't missed a point, except for the January meeting where I was in China. It would be nice to have an opportunity to make up points that have a specific time attached. I do like the March format as well, though I'm not sure how all of the items will help me with my fitness. Also, the team aspect has been challenging, with members who have had to drop out for one reason or another. I think the intent was that we help each other, but I didn't experience that (No offense intended to my team, who are all wonderful people). Good work to all of the T-fit staff for putting this together. |

3/31/2011 8:31 AM I have enjoyed the T-fit challenge, even if I did not make 100%. I have felt a positive impact in my life. I slacked off a bit, but am back to drinking water and eating more fruits and veggies. Thank you for taking the time to come up with both fun and challenging activities. |

3/31/2011 9:08 AM I really like the T-fit challenges. I have been working on improving my health for a year and this gave me more incentive to keep doing what I needed to do. I even walked my dog in snowstorms a few times during December to get all my steps in. I learned to love being outside no matter the weather. |

3/31/2011 1:57 PM Although I try to live a healthy lifestyle, I think that this program has been a great motivator for me. |

3/31/2011 3:29 PM I love the new March tracker in the variety of challenges it has to offer. The only criticism I have for the new trackers is that they don't allow for habbit forming changes. For example, most anyone can stay away from soda for one day, but that isn't a change that will likely stick if you only have to do it for one day.
However, the Sept - Feb trackers were getting overwhelming and monotonous. Maybe for next year, some type of hybrid could be reached where you can get extra points for doing stuff like an annual physical, or some of the other one day items on the March tracker, but we also have weekly fitness or nutrition challenges. Like 30 minutes of cardio 5x this week, or eat a nutritious breakfast 5x this week, etc.
I also agree that some of the goals should be more individually based. Those who are already making healthy choices should find a goal that would challenge them, and some who may have a longer way to go should find a goal that would be challenging, but not too overwhelming.
One other suggestion is to hold monthly information seminars on fitness, nutrition, overall health, etc. |
