The following internship links list companies that have provided SUU students internship opportunities in the past. Some of these internship opportunities are on-going and open each term until filled. Some internship opportunities are open for applications for a specific time only. We encourage students to go to the company website or contact the company directly for details.

Foodservice Management Internship Program (FMI) is sponsored by NACUFS and offered in cooperation with the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I). In existence for more than 46 years, the program allows student interns to work in a campus foodservice department for eight weeks each summer.

Northwestern Mutual Financial Network - This is a paid internship that may be career-track for the right individuals. Interns may come from any major.

American Conservatory Theater - A.C.T.'s Fellowships provide advanced, hands on training in theater production and administration to students, graduates, and other interested persons. It is through this exposure to professionals at work—and to their audiences—that our interns learn what drama means to the life of a community, and how the life of a community enriches its theater. A.C.T. internships provide a springboard to a professional life in the theater: our interns have gone on to attend renowned graduate programs, to work in major regional theaters, and to freelance as directors, designers, and stage managers.

American Dance Festival - Each summer during its annual season, the ADF offers internships in all areas of arts administration and production. Administrative internships are intended to give hands-on experience to those interested in a career in arts management. Production interns work on the crew for the 40-plus performances of the ADF season. All interns work as integral parts of the ADF staff in an invigorating arts environment and play an important role in carrying out the ADF’s mission to serve dance, dancers, choreographers and artists in related fields.

American River College Summer Musical Theatre Internship Program at the Sacramento Music Circus offers summer internships in a variety of areas.

Manhattan Theatre Club - The Paul A. Kaplan Theatre Management Program at Manhattan Theatre Club
is a comprehensive, full-time internship program. If you are an undergraduate student, graduate student, recent college graduate or an early-career professional, you could be part of this fantastic program!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art: Offers several internship opportunities for students in the visual arts and humanities areas. Many of these opportunities include stipends, scholarships or honorarium.

KSL regularly recruits unpaid interns EVERY semester and each summer. Internships are available in news, sports, production, and radio. Though unpaid, most of the internships do include a modest per diem or stipend to cover daily expenses.

Project Vote Smart National Internship Program provides a unique lesson in the study of American politics. Students from across the nation and around the world come to our high tech research center in the Montana Rockies for ten weeks to help American citizens educate themselves about elected officials and candidates.
