CLEP Testing 

CLEP is an iBT (internet Based Test) Credit by Examination

SUU CLEP Policies

  1. A maximum of 30 credit hours of credit may be awarded from a combination of College Level Examination Programs (CLEP) and other credit earned by examination.
  2. A student cannot receive credit for a CLEP examination if they have already earned credit in the same GE Core or Knowledge Area as the CLEP exam.
  3. Class work or AP credit earned prior to CLEP examination will be considered and may reduce the credit awarded for CLEP.
  4. Non-SUU students should contact their college/university for relevant CLEP credit policy
  5. Credit hours may be granted by CLEP examination as follows:

Introductory Psychology Social and Behavioral Sciences (PSY 1010) 50 or higher 3 credits 95 questions at 90 minutes
