The Learning Center tutoring lab is designed to enhance SUU students'
learning capabilities in a professional environment. Peer tutoring in many
subjects is available at no charge to the students. Assistance in organizing
and facilitating study groups is also provided.

Study Group
Our tutor training program is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association. This means that our tutors may be certified at three different levels of training: regular, advanced, master. The sessions are opened to any student interested in tutoring, but certification requires 10 hours of training and 25 hours of actual tutoring for each level of certification.
