Student-Faculty Scholarship Day

Submission Form

This submission form MUST be completed and submitted online no later than Friday, March 20th, 2009.  Students MUST have their advisor approve their title, abstract, and authorship information prior to submitting this form.

1. Author Information

In order of authorship, provide each author’s name as you wish them to appear in the program. Note that at least one of the authors MUST be an UG student. Only submissions with an UG student as first author will be eligible for a prize. These students must present their work in person to the judges.

Was your project part of a service learning requirement (please ask your advisor/mentor if you are not sure)?

Was your project an "honors project"? Please note that students need to be registered in SUU's honors program for their project to be considered an "honors project"

7. Presentation Time

Please note that we will try to accommodate your preference, but we cannot guarantee you will be scheduled for your preferred time.

8. SFSD Competition

Eligible submissions will be grouped into topic or discipline specific categories. Judges will be present to evaluate each presentation. Would you like your project to be judged and considered for an award?

9. Program Entry Information

Please write an abstract for your presentation using the format shown below. The abstract is not to exceed 150 words in length, which does not include the title and authorship information.  Abstracts will be printed in the SFSD program. 

Works in progress may be submitted to the SFSD as long as there are meaningful results/information suitable for dissemination.
