Student-Faculty Scholarship Day

Submission Form

This submission form MUST be completed and submitted online no later than Monday, March 31, 2008.  Students MUST have their advisor approve their title, abstract, and authorship information prior to submitting this form.

1. Author Information

In order of authorship, provide each author's name as you wish them to appear in the program. Note that at least one of the authors MUST be a student. Only submissions with an undergraduate as first author will be eligible for a prize. These students must present their work in person to the judges.

Was your project an "honors project"? Please note that students need to be registered in SUU's honors program for their project to be considered an "honors project"

Please note that we will try to accommodate your preference, but we cannot guarantee you will be scheduled for your preferred time.

8. Program Entry Information

Please write an abstract for your presentation using the format shown below. The abstract is not to exceed 150 words in length. Abstracts will be printed in the SFSD program. At the mentor's discretion, the abstract or the entire presentation will be printed in the online journal Southern Utah University: Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship. For inclusion in the journal, you will be requested to submit an electronic version of your presentation on or before May 1, 2008. Your abstract and/or complete presentation must be approved by your faculty advisor/mentor prior to submission. Information and instructions for online journal submissions will follow the conference.

Works in progress may be submitted to the SFSD and published in the online journal as long as there are meaningful results/information suitable for dissemination.
