Pay the Enrollment Deposit
- Pay Deposit Online. You will need your SUU ID and pin. If you don't know your SUU ID, select the link to find your ID number. Your pin will be your birthdate [MMDDYY]. To apply for a hardship waiver, you must complete the FAFSA and a waiver application.
- Pay Deposit by Phone. Contact the Admissions Office at 435.586.7740.

Enrollment Deposit Information
What is the Enrollment Deposit?
- Southern Utah University requires a $100 Enrollment Deposit to be paid by May 1, 2008 as part of the enrollment process for first-time freshman undergraduate students applying for fall semester.
- The Enrollment Deposit is not a fee. The $100 is a deposit that will be returned to students after the 5th week of classes, provided they have completely paid the account balance for tuition and fees.
Who is required to pay the Enrollment Deposit?

The Enrollment Deposit is required for all first-time freshmen undergraduate students enrolling for Fall semester in 2008.
Why do I need to pay the Enrollment Deposit?
- The Enrollment Deposit allows the University to more effectively plan for class offerings and student resources in preparation for the fall semester.
- The Enrollment Deposit provides an incentive for students to actively consider their college choice before completion of the senior year, which increases their selection in housing, Orientation dates and classes.
- The Enrollment Deposit helps the University to identify students earlier who are in need of financial assistance.
Deferment & Refunds of the Enrollment Deposit
- Students may apply for a financial hardship waiver if they feel they are unable to pay the Enrollment Deposit. Students requesting a financial hardship waiver must complete the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid in addition to the waiver application.
- Students may receive a full refund prior to June 15, 2008. If a student chooses not to attend SUU and did not request a refund on or before June 15, 2008 the student forfeit's the full amount of their Enrollment Deposit.
