COMPASS Program

Students whose index score falls below the threshold for acceptance into SUU may be offered the opportunity to participate in the COMPASS program (COMPrehensive Academic Support & Success).

The COMPASS program provides students with comprehensive academic support and success skills. It guides students with the development of college-level academic success strategies that are necessary to meet expectations and be successful in a higher education setting.

Students are required to enroll in UNIV 1050 (College Student Success) in their first term. They must successfully complete the course and achieve a 2.0 GPA by the end of their second term, in order to continue attending SUU in subsequent semesters.
