Acrylic Pouring

Explore and play with your creative side in this basics of acrylic pouring course. Participants will learn proportion and mixing paint with additives, creation of cells and lacing, and dirty pour and swipe techniques. Produce a finished work of art to take home, along with a new appreciation for art. All materials are provided, so bring a friend, or make a new one in class. *Please bring a box to transport art.

This one-day course meets Saturday 1:00pm - 4:00pm. All supplies will be provided, but please bring a box to carry your art home with you. Registration deadline is October 18.

Instructor Bio

Debbie Drake is the president of the Cedar City Arts Council and serves as director of the new Cedar City office of Women’s Business Center of Utah. Prior to her current position, she worked as program director at Southwest Tech in Cedar City. Recently earning her master's degree in instructional design from WGU, Debbie also studied art composite/interior design for her bachelor’s degree from SUU.
