American Sign Language, Intermediate
This class in American Sign Language expands on the concepts taught in beginner ASL moving from signing concrete concepts to abstract concepts. Additional vocabulary, grammar, and culture are discussed, and participants will participate in the interactive “voices off” policy to equally build their expressive and receptive skills.
*We recommend students to have taken Beginner ASL or have moderate experience in the subject.
This ten-week course meets Tuesdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Registration deadline is September 9.

Instructor Lawrence Laskowski has been teaching ASL classes for more than 30 years. He has previously taught for the Chicago Hearing Society, The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center of St. George, Southwest Tech, and is currently teaching at Gateway Preparatory Academy in Cedar City.
