Beginner Group Fiddle

Have fun learning to play folk music in this beginner group fiddle class. Learn various bowing and fingering techniques, double stops, rhythms, runs, leads, solos and repertoire.

*Participants need to be prepared to bring their own fiddle (violin), bow, tuner (Snark brand or similar), and cake of rosin.

This eight-week class meets Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Class will not be held on October 8. Registration deadline is September 2.

Instructor Bio

Dave Hunt has over 30 years of experience teaching guitar, mandolin, and fiddle. He has taught in both higher education and high school students. Dave is a past Utah State Instrument Champion in guitar, fiddle, and mandolin.
