Beginner Group Guitar

If you’ve ever wanted to learn to play guitar, try this beginner class in a group setting. Learn the basics of strumming and picking techniques, chords, runs, simple leads, and repertoire.

*Participants need to be prepared to bring their own acoustic guitar (preferably steel string), guitar strap, guitar picks, extra set of strings (medium or light gauge), tuner (electronic clip-on such as Snark brand, and capo.

This eight-week class meets Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm. Class will not be held on October 9. Registration deadline is September 3.

Instructor Bio

Dave Hunt has over 30 years of experience teaching guitar, mandolin, and fiddle. He has taught in both higher education and high school students. Dave is a past Utah State Instrument Champion in guitar, fiddle, and mandolin.
