Acrylic Pouring

Explore and play with your creative side with a two-day class on the basics of Acrylic Painting. In this class, participants will cover proportion and mixing paint with additives, the creation of cells and lacing, explore the dirty pour and swipe techniques, and produce a finished work of art to take home, along with a new appreciation of art. All materials are provided so bring a friend, or make new ones in class.

*Please bring a box to carry your art home with you.

Instructor Bio
Debbie Drake is the President of the Cedar City Arts Council and serves as director of the new Cedar City office of Women’s Business Center of Utah. Prior to her current position, she worked as Program Director at Southwest Tech in Cedar City. Recently earning her Master's Degree in Instructional Design from WGU, Drake also studied Art Composite/Interior Design for her Bachelor’s degree from SUU.
