Youth Engineering Academy - Summer Programming Camps

BZI Logo

Enrolling your child in a programming camp at SUU is a great way to develop coding and life skills. Children and teens who learn to code are more adept at problem-solving and logic tasks. It increases their creativity. It gives them a challenge and helps them build resilience. Coding is a fun way to teach math, and it is a skill that can help them now and in their future career.

Each week, we will have four different classes based on the age* of the students. In 2023, our focus was on computer programming. We will expand to additional topics in the future, including robotics, rocket design, structural engineering, aviation, drones, construction, digital safety and literacy, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and more.

The camps are one week long each.

Camp Dates and Times

All camps run Monday through Friday.

There are two individual weeklong camps available, camp dates for Summer 2024 are to be determined.

Fees

The camp is $50 per student. Lunch, T-shirt, and all camp materials are provided.
