Cedar Mountain Science Center

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will NOT be holding Cedar Mountain Science Camps this summer. Our staff is heartbroken that they will not be able to spend this June with your campers! We hope that you will check back again next year! We plan on being back and better than ever! Thanks for all the support over the years!

If you have already registered and paid for a camp this year, you should receive your refund by Friday, May 1st, 2020. If you do not receive it, please reach out to Wendy Hutcheson at hutcheson@suu.edu. If you still have questions, comments, and/or concerns please contact Peggy Wittwer or JJ Tanner at cmscamps@gmail.com.

The Cedar Mountain Science Center is a successful environmental education organization sponsored by Southern Utah University in partnership with all regional stakeholders. Funded by the Utah State Legislature and established in 1998, the Center forms partnerships with schools, national and state parks, land-use entities, community governments, and cultural organizations for the purpose of improving environmental education for teachers and students. The Center has a strategic location at the junction of all the major intermountain ecological provinces.
