Alumni Day – Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 12:30pm

SUU Nursing will host their annual Alumni Day on the Saturday of SUU's Homecoming, Fall, 2019.  Alumni Day will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 12:30pm.  Annually, the SUU Nursing Department seeks nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award. The award recognizes SUU Nursing graduates who have attained the highest level of professional accomplishments and/or has advanced the profession through practice, research, education, or administration. Nominees must be SUU Nursing graduates who are not current members of the College of Nursing Alumni Board.

The following criteria, as well as others not listed, can be used as a guide for describing a nominee’s qualifications for the award:

Professional Achievement -  Nominee has demonstrated, professional recognition, professional accomplishments, and/or significant contributions to the nursing profession; nominee has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of nursing. The nominee reflects honor to the College of Nursing in pursuing their professional activities.

Sphere of Influence - (local, state, national, or international) - Contributions made by the nominee have had a broad influence beyond the scope of that person’s place of employment.

Community Service - (local, state, national, or international) - The nominee has made significant humanitarian contributions to the community, positively impacted the community through their actions, and/or is involved in a variety of service initiatives.

  • One Letter of Support (in addition to the nominator)

ATI TEAS test Dates for Spring 2020 applicants! All tests will be proctored in SCA 011 - 30 testers maximum per test date, on a first come-first serve basis. Friday, August 23, 2019, 10:00 AM; Tuesday, August 27, 2019, 9:30 AM; Friday, September 6, 2019, 9:30 AM; Monday September 9, 2019, 11:00 AM. This is a 3 hour and 45 minutes, four-option multiple-choice test with 170 total questions. Please come prepared for this length of time.
