International Week is offered each spring and explores cultures from around the world brought to the SUU campus by our international students. This is an opportunity to explore new cultures, meet interesting people, and taste great foods from all corners of the globe. Always an enriching experience, watch this site for updates for the next International Week. It will also be advertised around campus and in the SUU Journal. All students are invited to all events, and credit may be earned by registering for HIST 2923 or HIST 3923. Professor Oriele will be running this Focus Week.
Each February SUU celebrates Black History Month by inviting prominent speakers, films, and events. This is an excellent opportunity to view history under a different light and gain an appreciation for American heritage. Professor Mulderink will be over this Focus Week, and students can register for these classes until Tuesday, February 3.
A fascinating look into the native cultures of the area, Native American Week offers speakers, films, and events that will educate and inspire you. All students are invited to all events, and credit may be earned by registering for HIST 2923 or HIST 3923. Dr. Emily Dean is the professor of this class and it is offered each fall semester.
