Student Consumer Complaint Notice

Online students should first attempt to resolve all issues or complaints with the university by following the process in the SUU Policy Manual. If an issue cannot be resolved internally, students have the option to file a complaint with the state regulator for the state within which they reside.

Textbooks & Materials

The SUU Bookstore can assist in the items you need for your class.

Course Materials

In addition to your textbook(s) for your course, there maybe additional materials and software required by your instructor. We recommend that you contact the instructor prior to registration for a complete list. Please review the Canvas System Requirements and Student Computing Software & Downloads information for standard software and plug-in applications and formats used here at SUU.

Off-Campus Student ID

Every SUU student needs a Student ID to take advantage of its benefits. But for SUU students that are attending virtually, this is a service that is physically challenging due to student location. SUU Off-Campus Students can obtain a Student ID by following the instructions below:

Off-Campus Student Instructions
  1. Go to https://my.suu.edu/settings/profile and upload a profile photo of yourself.
  2. Once a profile photo has been uploaded, go to https://my.suu.edu/studentid
  3. Choose the address you would like your student ID card sent to, or enter a new address.
  4. Once you have selected an address, the SUU student ID card staff will process your request and mail your student ID card to the address specified. You will receive an email notification when your ID card has been sent.
