Head Start Early Intervention

Parents are often the first to notice when their infant or toddler is having trouble developing certain skills. The Early Intervention/Baby Watch program is dedicated to the well-being of young children zero to three and their families.

Caring professionals provide full testing of child health and development at no cost. A developmental delay or problem with hearing or vision may qualify a child for services. Children with a diagnosed condition like Down Syndrome or a birth defect like Spina Bifida also qualify.

We provide services throughout Beaver, Garfield, Iron, and Kane Counties. Services may be delivered in a center-based setting located in Cedar City, at home, or a child care setting. The program is funded by the Utah State Department of Health. We operate our program year round. Referrals come directly from parents, local health departments, doctors, and hospitals.
