Master of Science in Sports Conditioning and Performance Admission Requirements
- Application Deadlines:
- July 15th - Fall Semester
- October 15th – Spring Semester
- February 15th – Summer Semester
- Complete SUU Graduate Studies Application
A complete application for admission must include:- $60.00 nonrefundable application processing fee.
- Verification of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university (Official transcripts).
- Three recommendation forms accessed through the online graduate school application process -- excluding recommendations from SUU KOR professors.
- 3.0 GPA on last 60 semester hours.
- Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: 1) have a baccalaureate degree with a major or minor in physical education, exercise science or sports medicine; 2) have a baccalaureate degree and be a licensed or certified fitness professional (CSCS, NSCA-CPT, ACSM-CPT, ACSM Health/Fitness Instructor--Must provide copy of certification.) or 3) have a baccalaureate degree and have completed undergraduate courses in exercise physiology and biomechanics.
- Candidates are expected to be computer literate, experienced in word processing and have access to a high-speed internet connection.

Conditional Admission
Master Degree applicants who do not meet minimum requirements may be admitted for up to one year on a conditional basis. The KOR Department will either admit or drop the student from degree-seeking status at the end of the one year probation.
Transfer Credit
Students may transfer up to 12 semester credit hours if they align with current course content.
