Letterhead, Business Cards and Envelopes

Consistent use of of the SUU identity system creates an image of professionalism and stability. University entities and individuals must use the standard designs for letterhead, business cards, and envelopes, unless specific permission for a different design has been granted by the Marketing Communication or University Design offices.

Letterhead

There are two ways to get letterhead. You can print your own general or custom letterhead using a good quality office laser printer, or you can use preprinted letterhead produced by a professional printer. In both cases, the original files need to be supplied by the Office of University Design.

Paper and inks

Approved letterhead is printed on good quality uncoated white paper stock, using black and PMS 200 red, or four color (CMYK) process printing, or high resolution digital printing.

General letterhead

Available as a Microsoft Word file, or in preprinted reams from the SUU Bookstore. NOTE: When using the generic letterhead, do not attempt to alter or add contact information near the primary Wordmark. Your own contact information will need to be in the address line or signature line of the actual letter that you type.

Custom letterhead

Custom letterhead places an individual’s or department’s name and contact information under and next to the SUU wordmark, in the matching typeface. Available as a Microsoft Word file, or by order from a professional printer. Contact the Office of University Design to have this file created for yourself or your department.

Image Pro (435-586-1105) is the only authorized local printer who can print a custom letterhead. Minimum quantity of 250 is required.
