Who can apply?

Any student who will have at least one year of on campus college experience. SUU, international and non-SUU students are encouraged to apply.

NOTE: SUU reserves the right to keep the application process open as needed.

To Apply:

  1. Fill out and submit the online application below.
    • Attach an Unofficial Transcript.
  2. Pay the deposit online. (Refund Policy is listed below)
  3. Once your application has been reviewed, you will be contacted to set up an interview.
  4. You will be asked to do an in-person interview if possible. If not, phone or Skype interviews may be arranged.
  5. You will be notified by the deadlines listed in the timeline.
  6. Make final payment.

Refund Policy

A $300 deposit is required at the time of application submission.

If the applicant is not accepted, the deposit will be repaid in full.

To receive refunds once a student is accepted into the program and subsequently withdraws, the student will need to send a written refund request to:

Prior to the final payment deadline: $150 withdrawal fee plus any unrecoverable costs to the Semester in the Parks program at the time of the withdrawal date (the date that written notification is received) will be deducted.

After the final payment deadline or anytime during the semester: Upon receipt of written request, $150 withdrawal fee, outstanding balances plus any damages will be deducted.

Students dismissed after the program begins will forfeit all fees.

Tuition refunds will follow SUU financial procedures and deadlines as outlined in the Cashier's Office Refund Schedule.
