Bachelor's Degree in Art History (B.A.)

on-campus

A liberal-arts degree program that focuses on the history of art and design as part of a broad program of general studies. This degree program should enable students to place visual-cultural objects, including works of art and design, within a historical context, and to speak and write clearly and meaningfully about art and design and about the relationship of visual-cultural artifacts to the social environments in which they were made. Southern Utah University is among the small group of institutions that are accredited in art and design by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
