Being a Friends of SUMA member grants you access to special events at the museum, such as previews to the newest exhibitions, tours led by the Director/Curator, and member socials. 

SUMA Summer Nights

SUMA Summer Nights 

Select Thursdays, 6—8 p.m. 

Celebrate summer nights with fellow arts and culture lovers! This exclusive event offers a special feature each week to elevate your experience at SUMA. Members can gain an insider's look at some of SUMA's current exhibitions and artists and enjoy live entertainment as they mingle with other museum supporters. Wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Members are invited to bring a plus-one, not-yet member guest.

July 18 — Understanding Jimmie Jones: A Discussion with Author, Jim Aton

Kate Starling: A Study of Scale

Kate Starling: A Study of Scale 

May 10, 6—8 p.m. 

Join us for an exclusive Friends of SUMA preview of the museum's latest exhibition featuring the work of artist, Kate Starling. An oil painter who lives and works in the canyons of southern Utah, Starling captures the atmosphere and dazzling light of the natural world, evoking memory and emotion. Friends of SUMA members can enjoy wine and light hors d'oeuvres as they socialize with other members and admire Starling's stunning landscapes.

Al Farrow: Wrath & Reverence 

August 3, 6—8 p.m. 

Friends of SUMA members are invited to a private preview event celebrating the opening of Al Farrow: Wrath & Reverence. Farrow’s ornate religious sculptures explore the relationships between religion, violence, peace, brutality, the sacred, and the unholy. Be the first to see this exhibit before it opens to the public and enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment.
