Students may change their course schedule subject to the following limitations:
A student may add courses during the first 14 calendar days of the Fall/Spring semesters. For other sessions or accelerated terms, please see the online Academic Calendar for specific dates. Additional signatures may be required by individual departments.
- Calendar days 1 – 7 :
Online Registration / Office Walk-In
- Calendar days 8 – 14:
A Registration Add/Drop Form signed by the instructor and submitted to the Registrar’s office
DROPPING & WITHDRAWING FROM CLASSES
A student may drop or withdraw from an individual course prior to the end of the ninth week of the Fall/Spring semesters. For other sessions and terms, such as summer term or Maymester, please see the online Academic Calendar or contact the Registrar's Office for more information. Any exception to the drop policy requires a dean's signature. Additional signatures may be required by individual departments.
- Calendar days 1 – 14:
A student may drop a class in person or online. No record of the course will appear on his/her transcript
- Calendar days 15- 9th week of class:
Student may withdraw from an individual course and a “W” for that course will appear on the transcript
If a student stops attending a class without officially withdrawing, he/she will receive a “UW” (unofficial withdrawal) for the course. This grade is calculated in the GPA as an “F.”
