Financial Management from 18-88

This six-week course will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 50 minutes. The course focuses on financial management and is open to everybody over the age of 18, because it is never to early to plan for retirement. This class is also great for those with older parents. Participants will learn from a range of issues faced by those planning to retire, including; taxes, retirement planning, buying and selling real estate, life and property insurance, Medicare, estate planning, savings strategies and more.

Instructor Bio

Jerry Mason

Dr. Jerry Mason earned a Master’s of Business Administration in Finance from Stanford University, and a Doctorate Degree in Family Economics from the University of Missouri. The International Association of Registered Financial Consultants awarded Mason with the Loren Dunton Memorial Award in 2016. According to their website, the award is given “to honor a person who has made a substantial contribution to the financial services, profession, and/or the financial interest of the public in their community.”
