Fred Adams Extended Shakespeare Tour

Participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity by exploring the backstage and hidden crevices of the Utah Shakespeare Festival theaters. In this one-time class, participants will receive instruction in props, costumes, and scenery and experience the history of USF by visiting original and current stages, as well as the costume and prop studios and storage units. Envision the festival through founder Fred Adams’ eyes. Participants are invited to a post-tour social hour hosted at IG Winery.

Instructor Bio
Instructor Ben Hohman serves as the Properties Director for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. He is currently in his 25th season at USF and previously worked for the Actors Theater of Louisville. Previously at USF he served as the Shakespeare-in-the-Schools tour designer for 12 years, Playmaker scenic designer for eight years and has also served as props master, props artisan, crew supervisor and display director.
