Family Theatre Games with Utah Shakespeare Festival

Brought to you by our friends from the Shakespeare Festival, this fast-paced, fun class teaches group theatre games to play together as families and friends. Learn group activities that can be used as icebreakers or warm-ups to help build connections in any family or group setting. This class is designed to get you on your feet and engaged with those around you. Participants will receive a packet with game descriptions to take home–perfect for family reunion or party planning. Come alone, with a friend, or with your entire family and be prepared to move, laugh, and play!

This 1-day course meets Thursday from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Registration deadline is June 13.

Instructor Bio
Instructor Michael Bahr is education director for the Utah Shakespeare Festival overseeing numerous outreach programs including a 16-week touring production that travels to more than 150 schools, and performing for 20,000 students in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, and Wyoming annually. Previously, as an instructor of theatre arts, he was awarded “Teacher of the Year” in Kern County, California, and Box Elder School District in Utah.
