Social Security Planning

In this one-night workshop, find out how to avoid the top ten biggest mistakes of Social Security planning and learn to maximize your retirement benefits for current and future income. This class will help you decide when you should start receiving benefits and why it’s important to plan with your spouse. Participants will learn strategies to boost retirement and survivor’s benefits and how to minimize taxation of benefits. A workbook is included in the cost of the class and will assist you in applying the concepts into the future.

This 1-day course meets Thursday from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. A workbook will be provided. Registration deadline is June 4.

Instructor Bio
Tyler Peterson currently teaches community education courses in the Davis, Murray, and Salt Lake County school districts. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University and was certified as a financial planner by the University of Texas-San Antonio. Prior to teaching, Tyler gained experience in the industry working for Allegis Financial Partners and Financial Insight Center.
