Freeze Your Buns Run 2013

General Information:

The 5k fun run/ walk begins at 11:00 am at Cobblecrest Park in Kanarraville, UT.  The 1 mile Jr. Shivering Buns Run will begin at noon. 

Parking will be available at the Kanarraville LDS Church and Kanarraville Town Hall Parking Lot located on Main Street, only 2 blocks away from Cobblecrest Park.

Registration Information and Fees:

  • Pre-registration 5K: $20.00 before 1/15/2013
  • Same day 5K:  $30.00
  • Jr. Shivering Buns Run:  $12.00

ONLY participants registered BEFORE 1/15/2013 will get their awesome t-shirt and goody bag the day of the event.  You can pick up your goody bag and t-shirt at Cobblecrest Park the morning of the race from 9:00-10:30 am.  If you register after 1/15/2013, you can get your t-shirt at SUU Sharwan Smith Center, upstairs in the Student Support Center, room 206G in February

Awards:

Awards will be given following the event.  Original, unique, fun awards will be given in addition to 1st place according to age.

Every participant in the Jr. Shivering Buns Run will receive an award.

Other Information:

A physical examination is not required to participate in the Freeze Your Buns Run.  However, all participants participate at their own risk.  If in doubt as to your physical condition for the run, it is strongly recommended that you seek the advice of a competent medical care provider and abide by his/her advice.

All persons under the age of 18 must have the written consent of their parent or legal guardian to compete in the Freeze Your Buns Run.

Proceeds from this fun event benefit local high school seniors that participate in the Federal TRiO Program, Educational Talent Search. Money will be used to fund scholarships for these students to the college of their choice in the fall of 2013.
