SUU STEM Leadership Board

The SUU STEM Leadership Board focuses on organizing, staffing, and overseeing STEM Center events and programs for K-12 students in southern Utah, including the STEM Tutoring Centers. These events are designed to promote fun, exploration, education and expression in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for all students who participate. STEM Center events help recruit students to SUU STEM programs and majors within the Walter Maxwell Gibson College of Science and Engineering. The STEM Leadership Board provides many opportunities of growth for SUU students. It is a student-led board that encourages its team to implement their unique skills to further and build their own resumes and expand the outreach of the organization. The STEM Leadership Board is made up of students from a wide variety of majors. You do not have to be a science or engineering student to be part of this leadership organization; in fact, we are for a very diverse group of students for a variety of jobs including marketing, education, and management. The STEM Leadership Board is a close-knit student organization that works closely with the SUU STEM Center staff and Academic Enhancement Coordinator for the Walter Maxwell Gibson College of Science and Engineering.
