STEM Tutoring Center

The SUU STEM Tutoring Center for Iron County School District students is up and running at North Elementary, Cedar High School, and Canyon View High School! The Tutoring Center is fully staffed and ready for students and parents who may be struggling with any science, math, technology, or engineering homework, concepts, or projects. We have a tutor available for every Elementary, Middle, and High School STEM subject each hour that the Tutoring Center is open. More information can be obtained by emailing stem@suu.edu or by visiting the Tutoring Center during its hours of operation.

All ICSD Elementary School Tutoring

Location:

North Elementary School, Cafeteria

*Enter through the main doors and go straight ahead.

Hours:

Monday: 3:30-5:00pm (after school)
Tuesday: 6:00-7:15pm (evening)
Wednesday: 1:30-3:30pm (after school)
Thursday: 6:00-7:15pm (evening)

Please stop by during tutoring hours to pick up a permission slip for your student! A signed slip needs to be filled out before students can stay without parents for tutoring.

Cedar High and Middle School Tutoring

Location:

Cedar High School, Library
703 W 600 S, Cedar City, UT 84720

*Please enter at southeast door near the faculty parking lot and follow the signs to the library.

Hours:

Tuesday & Thursday: 2:30-5:00pm
Monday-Thursday: 6:30-9:00pm

Bussing is provided from CMS after school. Please see the CMS office for permission slip and details.

Canyon View High and Middle School Tutoring

Canyon View High School, Room 115

*Please enter at main doors and go down the hall to the right for the Student Success Room, room 115.

Hours:

Tuesday & Thursday: 2:30-5:00pm
Monday & Wednesday: 7:00-9:00pm

Students coming from CVMS after school will be escorted safely across the street by tutors. Please see the CVMS office for permission slip and details.
