Summer Semester

Financial Aid Options for Summer Semester

SUU’s summer semester is more affordable than you think. The summer semesters follow the same tuition rates as fall and spring semesters, with one notable exception: all undergraduate students receive the resident (in-state) tuition rate, regardless of whether you are an out-of-state student or not. This means that staying for summer could save you a lot of money and help you finish your degree faster.

Using Federal Financial Aid for Summer

Federal financial aid awards (FAFSA) may be used during the summer semester if you haven’t utilized all of your benefits for the school year yet. Summer semesters are considered part of the academic year for federal financial aid programs, meaning many students may have additional benefits available they don’t know about. For assistance applying for FAFSA or accepting your FAFSA award, please visit SUU Financial Aid.
