The Department of Library and Information Science at SUU offers all the coursework necessary for the Library Media minor and the Utah Library Media Endorsement (both undergraduate and graduate).
Special Collections
Located on the Garden Level of the Library, Special Collections houses the records of the university in addition to other unique collections that support the university's mission.
About the Gerald R. Sherratt Library
The Sherratt Library, located on the campus of Southern Utah University, is here to serve our campus community of students, faculty, and staff. The development and design of the new SUU Gerald R. Sherratt Library website, launched July 1, 2024, was informed by User Experience research from the March 2024 Electronic Resources & Libraries Conference in Austin. We designed the new site using information based decision making from our collected web data while attempting to capture a unique narrative, storytelling approach.
