No. But it is recommended.
What do you look for in our transcripts?
We evaluate the courses you have taken and there level of difficulty.
What do we do during GHA?
We attend the Tony Award Winning Utah Shakespeare Festival, and several National Parks. We participate with multiple renowned speakers. We hold small group interactive sessions to promote leadership and self awareness. We also hold a GHA Dance, talent show, and swimming party. We are often busy from before sun up and don't retire until after the sun has gone down- You won't be bored.
How many days is the academy?
9 days
Is food and housing extra?
The $1000 covers lodging, meals, transportation during the academy and all scheduled activities. Individual spending money is optional.
How many apply and attend GHA?
We receive between 250-300 applications each year. We accept roughly 50 participants each year.
When is the deadline for the application?
The deadline for the application is March 4th. No postmark documents are accepted.
Can I mail my application on March 4th and still be accepted?
The completed application with all required documents must be in the GHA Office before March 4th.
