Accounting students study together.
Most of our accounting graduates are employed by accounting firms or government agencies in the western United States. About half of our students stay an additional year to earn a master’s degree in accounting (MAcc) which qualifies them to take the CPA examination. Accounting students can also opt to earn an MBA degree concurrently with their MAcc degree with five extra MBA courses (one extra semester). Nearly all of the MAcc students are placed in professional accounting careers during their first year of graduate studies.
