English Secondary Education/Creative Writing Emphasis

English Building
If you are passionate about both teaching in the public school system and writing creative work such as poetry and fiction, SUU has the right program of study for you. Our new composite English BA allows you to focus your study simultaneously on both of your passions. This degree will broaden your creative and academic experiences while preparing you to teach English composition, English literature, and creative writing in the secondary education system, making you far more marketable than students possessing just an English teaching degree
