Management

The mission of the management program is to direct its teaching, research and service activities toward developing and enhancing the ability of students and practitioners to identify, assemble, and coordinate the skills and resources needed to create economic wealth within ethical and societal boundaries. The primary commitment of the faculty is to provide a nationally accredited, high-quality undergraduate experience to our students. Excellent undergraduate teaching is our top priority.

POINTS of DISTINCTION

AACSB accreditation - same as BYU, UCLA, and Stanford.
Over 90% placement of graduates into employment.
Relationships with 15 universities overseas, where management students can study abroad, earn credit toward graduation, and pay SUU tuition levels.
Internships with dozens of local, regional, and national companies are offered, including Disney, Target, and Sherwin-Williams.
Small classes (average about 30 students) and teachers who focus more on teaching than research.
