Pre-Pharmacy
Though SUU does not host a pre-pharmacy major, we offer
the support and guidance to ensure students interested in
pharmaceutical careers are well-positioned for acceptance into pharmacy
school. Our chemistry students have gained admission to top pharmacy
schools by completing the required pre-pharmacy pre-requisites while
pursuing their undergraduate degree. College of Science academic
advisors and pre-pharmacy faculty advisors work closely with our prepharmacy
students to chart the ideal academic program for their success.

“I chose SUU because I knew of the outstanding acceptance rate into pharmacy school (and all the health sciences). I knew there had to be something special, and it turns out that the difference is the faculty. Not only do I get small classes, but the professors really care about me. I feel like I have a real friendship with many of my professors. SUU has helped me gain countless experiences through service, leadership and personal interactions that gave me a healthy advantage in the application and interview process.”
