Program Overview
Southern Utah University offers all the courses needed for the Library Media minor and the Library Media Endorsement, available at both undergraduate and graduate levels. If you live outside of Utah, check your state’s requirements to ensure this program meets licensure needs. No teaching license is needed to sign up for the program, but you must have a license for the endorsement to count.
- Complete the endorsement in one year (6 courses, 18 credits).

- Pass the PRAXIS exam or other tests that may be required by your state (please note that no exams are required by the state of Utah)

This option is great for licensed teachers who already hold a degree and want to become a certified school librarian in Utah and most surrounding states.
