How You Can Apply for the Grad Path Program
To be accepted into the Grad Path program, you'll complete both of the following steps:
Step 1: Apply to SUU Online
Complete the main graduate application to become a student at Southern Utah University and to ensure your spot in the program once you graduate.
Apply to SUU Online
Step 2: Apply to the Grad Path Courses Program
After submitting your graduate application, complete the separate Grad Path Courses application to be considered for the Grad Path program.

Important: You will not be admitted to the Grad Path Courses program unless both steps are completed.

Grad Path Program Guidelines
Who Can Join
- Student who have 90+ credits (earned or in progress).
- Students who have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Credits and GPA are checked each semester.
Credit & Course Guidelines
- Only 6 graduate credits are allowed per semester
- Graduate credits don’t count toward your undergrad degree
- Each grad course may only be taken once
- Courses must be pre-approved by your graduate advisor
- A separate Grad Path Course application is required for each semester to enroll in courses
Tuition Costs & Grades
- Grad Path courses are billed at undergrad tuition rates
- Must earn a B or better in each course
- Finish with a 3.0 GPA or higher and you're automatically accepted into the matching graduate program
- Below 3.0? Entry depends on the program’s specific requirements
- Complete your bachelor's degree and meet the requirements for your selected graduate program for guaranteed admission
Note: All Grad Path registration must go through the Grad Path application—no Add/Drop forms allowed.
Grad Path Scholarship
Good news! When you join a qualifying graduate program and take Grad Path courses, you’re automatically considered for the Grad Path Scholarship. The funds kick in once you start your graduate program within two semesters of finishing your bachelor’s degree. You may be eligible to receive:
- up to $1,000 in your first semester
