Reporting Options
  • If you decide to file a formal report about an incident of sexual assault or rape, you have complete control over the decision-making process.  Once you formally report an incident, you have the ability to choose if you would like to go further with the adjudication process.  The survivor’s choice is honored by the SUU Police Office.
  • The SUU Police Office encourages reporting sexual assault or rape in a timely manner in order to ensure that the information will be easier to remember.  After the report, the survivor has the ability to decide if they would like to further the investigation and/or press charges.
