Engineering Technology CAD/CAM - Facilities
 The Technology Building was constructed in 1976. It has 2 levels and is approximately 15,000 square feet. |
 The CAD lab consists of 30 work stations, all with 2.2Ghz processors, 1 Gig of RAM, 40 Gig hard drives and 20 inch monitors. All workstations are networked and connected to the world wide web. Computers are upgraded approximately every 12 months. |
 The CAD lab also has an overhead projection unit with CD/DVD/VCD and surround sound capabilities. |
 Students gain knowledge of CAD software using: AutoCad 2002, Autodesk Inventor 5.3 and CATIA V5 R8. |
 The CAM lab consists of 20 workstations all with 850 Mhz processors, 512 MB of RAM, 20 Gig hard drives and 17 inch monitors. The CAM lab also has 1 spectralight benchtop mill. Students gain knowledge of CAM software using Mastercam 9. |
 The Board Drafting lab consists of 28 drafting boards. Students gain knowledge of board drafting techniques and free hand sketching. |
