Colby Presley, Recipient of a 2015 Sigma Delta Pi Study Abroad Award

Colby Presley

Congratulations to Colby Presley (Spanish/Political Science major) for receiving an Undergraduate Study Abroad Award from Sigma Delta Pi (The National Hispanic Honor Society). He was selected from a very competitive pool of applicants from across the U.S. For this particular award, only one recipient is chosen nationally to study at Alcalá de Henares, Spain at the Instituto Franklin-Universidad de Alcalá for four weeks in July 2015. The award includes the cost of registration, tuition, and a stipend of $1,000 that may be used for lodging, transportation, and/or other expenses related to the trip.

This year we nominated three outstanding students and as far as our records show, it's the first time SUU has received a scholarship from Sigma Delta Pi.
