Students conduct experiments in wind tunnel testing, flow metering, hydrostatics, jet flows, etc.
The test section of the wind tunnel is 1 ft × 1ft. In the Fluid Mechanics Lab, students test the aerodynamic characteristics of shapes using dynamic similarity.
Students test various flow metering devices and other obstructions and compare their results with theory.
Students use this equipment to study surface wave propagation.
